RiverWILD Commercial was honored to attend the ribbon cutting ceremony for White Oak Townhomes on June 10, joining more than 150 attendees, including local officials from Cary, Apex, and Wake County, as well as members of White Oak Church and the White Oak Foundation.

Located in the Cary/Apex area, White Oak Townhomes is a 30-unit residential development completed by RiverWILD Commercial in partnership with the White Oak Foundation.

Project Overview

RiverWILD Commercial provided all vertical construction for the development, along with landscaping, pond conversion, and the installation of key community amenities including a playground and community mailbox kiosk.

Project highlights include:

  • $7.318 million contract value

  • 65,697 total square feet of construction

  • 30 total townhome units

Construction began in August 2025 and was completed in June 2026, delivering the project approximately three months ahead of schedule.

Delivering Value Beyond the Original Scope

One aspect that made this project unique was RiverWILD Commercial's ability to expand its role beyond the original scope of work. While initially contracted for the vertical construction portion of the project, the team also completed pond conversion improvements and additional site amenities, leveraging its broader construction expertise to provide a more comprehensive solution for the client.

This versatility helped streamline project coordination and contributed to the successful delivery of the development.

A Strong Partnership

Beyond the construction itself, White Oak Townhomes reflects the strength of the partnership between RiverWILD Commercial and the White Oak Foundation. Throughout the project, both teams remained focused on delivering a quality development that would serve the community for years to come.

The development includes 15 homes designated as affordable housing opportunities for residents earning 80% or less of the Area Median Income, supporting the White Oak Foundation's mission of "Caring for the Total Person."

Project Success

Led by Project Manager Bryan Parrish and Superintendent Jarrett Barnes, the project was completed on time, on budget, and ahead of schedule.

RiverWILD Commercial is grateful for the opportunity to partner with the White Oak Foundation on this development and looks forward to future opportunities to work together.
